Colossians 2: 2 – 3 (NIV) My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, 3in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Thank you for your interest in our company Scents Of Inspiration. We hope you enjoy our products, and we look forward to inspiring you for many years to come.
We are a small Christian company whose desire is to bring inspiration to the senses. Our candles are hand-poured and highly scented. (We want to make sure you can really enjoy each scent.) Each candle comes in either a small 3.5-oz silver tin or larger 7-oz silver tin, and our Aromatherapy candles come in gold 6-oz tins. We do not use labels (other than the identifying label underneath the tin). Not only does it keep the look of the candle simple and non-cumbersome, but it also helps keep costs down allowing us to pass those savings on to you. While we do retain a small stock of our more popular products on hand to help meet orders in a timely fashion, most of our products are made at the time we receive the order. This helps ensure freshness of our products. We test each Scent with our waxes to ensure stability and pleasant ambiance.
Due to the handmade nature of these products, color consistency may slightly vary.
Soy vs Paraffin:
We use Soy wax which is sometimes referred to as "Natural" Candles.
Candle-Grade-Paraffin wax is derived from petroleum, which is a fossil fuel (usually dependent on other countries). In fact, it is what's left at the bottom of the barrel at the refineries after extracting things like oil, gasoline, lubricants, etc. This Paraffin emits 11 different toxins when ignited! YUK! It's what turns your walls black, and it's that funny odor that competes with the fragrance oils when you burn it. Can you believe that most of your candles are made with this? Even your most popular, larger retail commercial, and franchise ones.
Soy wax is derived from the Soy Bean, which is a renewable resource that supports the American Farming Economy. Soy wax burns cooler, 20% longer, more evenly, and cleaner compared to Paraffin wax. Soy wax is softer than Paraffin and, unlike Paraffin, is water-soluble. If you accidentally spill Paraffin, consider your carpet and furniture ruined! With Soy wax, all you need is hot soapy water, and it cleans up nicely... no more covering up that gloop on the table or carpet that paraffin leaves!
Another plus with Soy wax is the fragrance distribution. Not only does it have a better cold scent throw (the ability to smell it when it’s not burning), but the fragrances last through the ENTIRE candle. Molded and Pillar candles are made upside down (like upside-down pineapple cakes). As the Paraffin cools, the fragrance sinks to the bottom 1/3 of the mold. When burning Paraffin, most of the scent is used up in the top 1/3 of the candle. With Soy wax, the fragrance stays throughout the candle more evenly during cooling creating a candle that is good till the end.
Only 12% of the candle industry is Soy right now (and that's up from 8% last year). As consumers become educated, they are demanding better quality and healthier wax. It's true Paraffin is less expensive, but Soy is the superior and much healthier quality, and quality is more important to us than quantity.
